I hope you all had an amazing long weekend. ? We didn’t go away, but it was still a lovely four days. There was even some beautiful rain; and yesterday we had a glorious sleep-in until almost 10:00am. On Saturday I made a last minute brow shape appointment at Placecol. We got there a few minutes early (Shawn and Zee were with me), and while waiting Shawn decided to ask the receptionist if they had a spot open for a little pamper session for Zee. The therapist could do a pedicure immediately after my brow shape – yay!
Little person was so excited when we told her. She loves all things girly, and pedicures (whilst seated on a big, comfy chair) are right at the top of that list. She couldn’t get her sneakers off fast enough!
Our first mommy and daughter pedicure date was also at Placecol. This past Saturday was actually a good reminder that I’d been wanting to do a post like this for a while now, as I really appreciate the extra effort they put into the kiddies pedicure. I’ve taken Zee there (different branches) probably three times, and I’ve always been impressed. I’ve taken her elsewhere as well, but the ladies at Placecol do the best job. They’re always friendly and sweet; they take their time, even though they’re working on tiny feet and legs; and the little person has always left there feeling like she’s had a royal spa treat.
The most difficult part of the treatment – as always – was choosing the perfect colour! She eventually settled on a pretty pink, and then the therapist told her she had something that she thought Zee would really like. She hurried off, and returned a minute later with a bottle of glittery polish. A serious discussion followed, during which the two of them decided which toes would get the extra glitter treatment. ?
Zee also let her know – between giggles – how “weird” the soft silicone toe separator “thingy” felt.
She was very pleased with the end result (how cute, you guys?). She was also pleased when she got to ride around on dad’s shoulders, seeing as she didn’t have a pair of flip flops to slip on. Not a bad way to end her special pamper session. ?
Looks amazing! Wow!
She loved it ?
Cutie pie!!! She’s at the perfect age for all this pamper stuff.
