Hello everyone! Oh, and hello 2014!!! π With all the excitement, preparations, and packing for our holiday, and then the holiday itself, it seems like forever since I last wrote here. We got back on Thursday, after an amazing three weeks.
I have a few holiday posts coming up, but for right now I thought I’d share some pics I took on my phone, so we can catch up a bit. I hope you like them.
Week 1 – Amsterdam
Zee discovered and fell in love with ice skating in Amsterdam. She loved it so much, we had to go again in Paris, twice!
I think this pic at Madam Tussaud’s is so funny, because it’s like I’m looking at Zee like, “can mom have a minute alone with Mr Depp, sweetie?” π
Yeah, I’m a Bond girl now. π
Spotted this huge windmill during a day tour.
A chat and some kisses in the park.
I don’t drink beer, but hubby insisted that I try some at the Heineken Experience.
Pretty lights and winter markets.
Off we go to Paris! π
Week 2 & 3 – Paris and Disneyland
Happiest little girl in the world. Just checked in at Disneyland, and ready to hit the parks! π
Thank you daddy! β€
Look mommy, it’s Rex! And how cute are those ear muffs with the huge pink bow? π
Goofy led the Stars & Cars parade.
Donald giving Daisy some love π
Beautiful Mulan, one of the characters who made Zee super happy by saying hi and blowing a kiss her way.
Just a couple of bad guys.
My best, J, after seeing this pic, said even the face painting at Disneyland looks magical. Agreed. π
Zee hoped to meet Snow White in the Princess Pavilion from the moment we arrived. And this Snow White was the sweetest ever, and spent way more than the allotted time with our little girl. Thank you Snow White! π
Cinderella’s carriage. At this point I was really feeling like a kid again! π
Elevator selfie on our anniversary… Say cheeeeese!
Massive LV flagship store. We stood in this long line to get in, and within a few minutes, one of the staff came and fetched us to go in ahead of everyone! The perks of having a toddler in a stroller! π I felt really bad after that, when we didn’t buy anything, but like so many of the other tourists, we were just there to stare in awe haha! One day, when I grow up though…
Guess who adores Paris! Everyone was greeted with “bonjour!”, and she even asked if we could buy a house there.
On top of the world! Zee and dad, loving the view from the Eiffel Tower.
LOVELY!!!
Thank you! π
This sounds like a dream trip – I see it was in 2014. Have you travelled recently or when is the next trip?
It truly was a dream holiday, one we’d do over and over, if we could! β€ We haven’t been to that side of the world since, with our currency being as weak as it is. π
Take a ShotLeft – do local π
Local is awesome too! We’ve always tried to explore in SA, and there’s still much to see. π
