We’ve been seeing ads for Tangled – The Series for a while, and now the first episode is only a few days away! Yay!
Watching the special, Tangled Before Ever After, reminded me of the time (back in 2012) when Zee and I would watch Tangled literally everyday. ?
It was a milestone for Disney – their 50th animated feature film, and it was fantastic! Brilliantly written characters, great humor, action, songs that would stick with you long after you’d watched it the first time (and not because they’re annoying), and Maximus, possibly THE most awesome horse ever – there’s nothing not to love about this film.
At the end of 2012, when Zee was 3 (and our Tangled fever was still at a high) we went to Disneyland Paris. Of course all this reminiscing about Tangled and that time, meant that I had to get the old pics out as well. I love looking at holiday pics, and reliving the amazing times had.
Needless to say, there was no way we were leaving there without a Rapunzel doll. ?
She was also thrilled to see her fave Disney princess’s face on a light pole, while we waited for a parade to start.
She even got to see Pascal, and strike a pose next to the golden flower from the story.
Five years later, and Rapunzel still has a special place in her heart. ❤️
A little about Tangled – The Series
Set between the events of the feature film and the start of the 2012 short film, Tangled Ever After, the animated series unfolds as Rapunzel acquaints herself with her parents, her kingdom, and the people of Corona.
Her irrepressible spirit, and natural curiosity, drive her to the realization that there is so much more she needs to learn before she can truly accept her royal destiny.
She boldly puts her crown and impending marriage on hold to seek out epic adventures, much to the dismay of the King who, after missing out on Rapunzel’s youth, must accept that his daughter is now an independent young woman.
Accompanying Rapunzel on her journey will be Eugene; Pascal; no-nonsense horse, Maximus; the Snuggly Duckling Pub Thugs; and newcomer Cassandra, a tough-as-nails handmaiden, who becomes Rapunzel’s confidant.
Catch it on Disney Channel (DStv Channel 303) on Monday, 30 October 2017 at 16:00.

That looks like so much fun! My girls adore the tangles series. My eldest compares her hair growth to Repunzels??

Cute! ?
We loved the movie, I didn’t know they are making a series of this now.
#FamilyFun
We watched the first episode today, it’s so cute! 🙂
Wow I didn’t know they were bringing out a TV series! Tangled is one of our favourite kids films and, like you, the kids went through a phase of watching it every day. I think we probably know it word-for-word. I shall be keeping an eye out for this series! #blogcrush
I’m sure I it word for word too… songs included! ?
Aww, lovely pictures. So sweet that she still loves Rapunzel. Amazingly we’ve never seen Tangled. May have to rectify that now my daughter is 3!
Thank you for joining #FamilyFunLinky x
Definitely have to rectify this now that your daughter is 3! ?
