Zeeview | Gelli Baff

Zee recently received a press drop all the way from the U.K. She was really excited when she opened the parcel and discovered boxes of Zimpli Kids’ Gelli Baff and Slime Baff.

Gelli Baff

Naturally, the Princess Pink Gelli Baff attracted her attention first, and she couldn’t wait to hop into the bathtub to try it out! Moms out there, I know you’ll agree with me – anytime a child is this happy and eager to bath, it’s a HUGE win! So this mom was already impressed with the product, and we hadn’t even opened the box yet!

Gelli Baff

What is Gelli Baff?

It’s a totally unique, fun, bathtime product that lets you turn water into goo and back again!

Adding Gelli Baff powder to water, magically transforms the water into brightly coloured goo! Once your littles are done playing (according to Zee, this is when their hands and feet are sufficiently wrinkled 😊), add the second ‘dissolver’ powder to turn the goo back to liquid which can be drained away safely and easily.

And now, the really important stuff:

• It contains no harmful chemicals, making it kind on delicate little skin.
• It is biodegradable and environmentally safe, making it kind on the planet.
• It is stain free, making it kind on moms. 😉

Here’s how it went when we tried the Princess Pink Gelli Baff

First, I asked Shawn to pour in the pink powder, so I could handle the photos/videos. Of course he saw this as his chance to have a Salt Bae moment on camera. No words. 😁

Dad’s antics done, he poured the rest of the powder in… the water quickly began to turn bright pink, and then gooey, much to Zee’s delight. She loved the “jelly texture and the strawberry smell”, and she had all sorts of other things to say about why Gelli Baff is the coolest thing ever. Hear all about it in the short video clips below.

Zee’s final verdict

How many smiley faces would you give Gelli Baff?

“I really, really like it, and I had a lot of fun, so I give it 6001 smiley faces!”

You’d think by now I’d have learned to be more specific. ? Now, how many smiley faces would you give Gelli Baff out of 5?

“Oh! *cue giggles* I give it 4 out of 5.”

Would you like to share with the readers why it’s not 5 out of 5?

“Mmmm… maybe if it felt a little more jelly, you know like jelly jelly, then I’d give it 5 smiley faces.”

Ah, ok. Thank you baba.

So there you have it, a score of 4/5 from my little person.

Mom tip: I think if I’d filled the bathtub with a little less water, she may have had that jelly jelly goo she was looking for, so keep that in mind if you try this out with your goo-loving little ones.

Mom’s final thoughts on Gelli Baff

This is a really fun bath time product. The goo is, as Zee put it, really cool! I love that it’s 100% safe on my little rascal’s skin, which is extremely important. I love that it made her ASK to have a bath. And I love how there was basically zero cleaning to be done afterwards. The pink water drained away easily, and left no marks!

Gelli Baff and Slime Baff will be available in Toys R Us from the end of October 2017.

Ah she is very cute. I think this would probably be a hit in my house too, although I think I would freak out a bit and seeing a pink bath! No doubt it will happen here before long though. Thanks for joining us at #familyfun

      Thank you ?
The surprising thing is that it leaves no marks… once I’d drained all he water, I had a clean, white bathtub again!
