Boulders Beach

A little visit to Boulders Beach

During our trip to Cape Town in June, we introduced Zee to some very well dressed friends. I’m talking about the cutest little guys in tuxedos you ever will see; the endangered African penguins at Boulders Beach, near Simon’s Town.

This spot has been their home since 1982, and their settling there has made it a very popular tourist destination. I think it’s an absolute must do on a visit to Cape Town, especially if you’re traveling with kids. Although, seeing these little guys up close is a delight for everyone, young or old.

Zee loved watching them walk waddle around freely. A stroll on the boardwalk was also a winner with our little explorer. She got to see so many penguins, and spotted a few penguin eggs too.

Oh, and she got to meet a few gorgeous supermodels who didn’t mind striking a pose for the camera – seriously, just look at these two!

Spotted! Penguin eggs. (Or stones? Either way, we spotted something. 😁)
