This past Friday and Saturday, Husband attended a conference at Glenburn Lodge in Muldersdrift. Zee and I accompanied him, as we usually do with these annual meetings – once they end at midday on Saturday, we make a family weekend of it.

The regional meeting is usually held at Emperors Palace, which is always lovely, but this year’s venue wasn’t a bad change. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, the food was really good, and the staff were friendly. Glenburn is pretty and so green, and Zee was as happy running and playing outside, as she was with the fact that she had her “own hotel room” – we had a family room, where the little person had her own space, complete with a door which she closed after telling me to “knock and come in if you need me, ok mommy.”
