It’s the last day of the quote challenge, and I’ve really enjoyed it. The quote I chose for today isn’t from a book like the previous two. It’s one I saw on Facebook of all places, a year or two ago, and I’ve had it saved on my phone since. Here it is:
Time has never flown by as quickly, as it has since I became a mom. Zee was born just the other day; a tiny, toothless person whose diaper I didn’t even know how to change that first day. Only it wasn’t just the other day, it was nearly six whole years ago. Most moms can relate, which is why this quote leaves us a little teary eyed everytime.
Children are a gift from God, precious and innocent lives we’re entrusted with. Thinking of it like that, wouldn’t you want to give them nothing but your best – to spend as much time as you can with them, to really listen to all they have say, to play and be a little silly with them until they’re laughing those deep belly laughs? Whilst challenging at times, it really is by far the most rewarding job (privilege) in the world.
