It’s (Cake) Party time with Play-Doh Kitchen Creations

Last week Zee received a (in her words) “very cute, and very fun” gift from Hasbro – the Play-Doh Cake Party play set from their new Kitchen Creations range. She’s been baking up a storm ever since, creating all kinds of cute – and some curious looking – sweet treats. 😋

Play-Doh Zee

She was really excited to tell everyone about her latest Play-Doh favourite, which means (of course) that mommy was reeled in for a new video. 😊

It’s clear that all junior chefs like Zee will be inspired with the Play-Doh Kitchen Creations range, where the main ingredient is creativity.

The range includes a variety of playsets and tools to inspire storytelling, imaginative thinking, creative play, and fun. These are just a few of my Zee’s faves from the adorable Kitchen Creations range:

~ Play-Doh Breakfast Bakery

Little chefs can create a delightful breakfast with the waffle maker which shapes both square and round waffles, imaginary toast, pretend pancakes, lots of make-believe toppings, and more.

~ Play-Doh Burger Barbeque

Fire up the make-believe grill with the Burger Barbeque set. Choose from five Play-Doh colours and creative tools to roll, cut, squeeze, shape and mould fun hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, and toppings.

~ Play-Doh Magical Oven

The oven features real lights and sounds. The lights change from white to red as the pretend food finishes cooking; and listen out for the ‘ding’ sound when it’s done.

~ Play-Doh Frost ‘n Fun Cakes

Play-Doh Frost

Cover cake creations in fluffy frosting with the frosting tool, which comes with three tips for a variety of shapes. Top it all off with make-believe candies, silly fruits, and other fun toppings with the half-moulds.

Play-Doh kitchen creations

A childhood staple since its introduction in 1956, Play-Doh has captivated the imaginations of children across the globe, and it continues to do so with the Kitchen Creations range. It is the #1 reusable modeling compound, with more than 500 million cans produced each year. As well as being plain fun for kids, there are many educational and developmental benefits. Play-Doh has been shown to:

~ enhance fine motor skill
~ improve pre-writing skills
~ assist with literacy and numeracy development
~ stimulate creativity and imagination
~ have a calming effect with regards to focus and concentration
~ develop hand-eye coordination
~ increase curiosity and knowledge
~ encourage social skills

Cute, fun, and educational too? Go on, open up a can of imagination today. 🙂

Zeeview | Disney Princess Toddler Dolls

Disney Princess

Zee and I had so much fun making the My Little Pony YouTube video last week, we decided to make another! 🙂 This time Zee will be reviewing the gorgeous Disney Princess toddler dolls I won with Prima Toys at the #JoziMeetup.

Disney Princess

My little person was so excited to receive her lovely Disney Princess dolls, she held on to the boxes in the car and couldn’t stop smiling. When I’d bought my ticket, she was a little sad to hear the #JoziMeetup wasn’t going to be a mommy and kids event, but the “special Disney prezzies” really made up for that. 😉

Disney Princess

For the moms and dads who aren’t massive Disney fans (seriously though, how could you not be? 😀), here’s a little background to the show and film these two Disney Princesses come from:

Sofia the First is an American computer-animated television series on Disney Junior that features Sofia, a young girl who becomes a princess when her mother, Miranda, marries her kingdom’s ruler King Roland II. As she adjusts to her new role, Sofia works to live amongst the royal family while having different adventures along the way.

Tangled is a 2010 American 3D computer-animated musical fantasy-comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Loosely based on the German fairy tale “Rapunzel” in the collection of folk tales published by the Brothers Grimm, it is the 50th Disney animated feature film. Featuring the voices of Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, the film tells the story of a lost, young princess who yearns to leave her secluded tower. Against her mother’s wishes, she accepts the aid of a handsome intruder to take her out into the world which she has never seen.

And now, here’s Zee telling us a little bit more about her Sofia and Rapunzel dolls. We hope you like it. 🙂

Naptime Natter

We finally made it to YouTube!

I see now that my post title may be a little misleading. Allow me to explain – you see, we weren’t totally stuck in the dark ages all this time. I mean we’re always on YouTube, watching tutorials or unboxing of toys, or old Barbie Life In The Dreamhouse episodes… but today we posted our first video – YAY! 😀

Zee has been bugging me to do this for the longest time (because you know, moms don’t have seventy five thousand other things to do), and this time I finally gave in. I, well actually Zee received a My Little Pony gift bag yesterday, with an amazing Rarity Fashion Runway play set. She was thrilled! She literally jumped up and down, and squealed with delight! Having been a My Little Pony fan since I was as little as she is now, I was doing the same… but just on the inside. 😉

YouTube - MLP

Of course, this new toy meant the “mommy can we film a video for YouTube pleeeeeeease” routine started again. So today, I decided I’d give my favourite word (No) a break, and say Yes to this little person instead.

YouTube ZeeMy YouTube skills obviously have a long way to go, but I think it came out pretty decent. And now, instead of me boring you, here’s Zee telling you all about her fab new toy. If you (or your little people) enjoy the video, please give it a like, or subscribe to the channel, or share, or all of that. I’m sure it will absolutely make her day. 🙂
