Zeeview | Disney Princess Toddler Dolls

Disney Princess

Zee and I had so much fun making the My Little Pony YouTube video last week, we decided to make another! πŸ™‚ This time Zee will be reviewing the gorgeous Disney Princess toddler dolls I won with Prima Toys at the #JoziMeetup.

Disney Princess

My little person was so excited to receive her lovely Disney Princess dolls, she held on to the boxes in the car and couldn’t stop smiling. When I’d bought my ticket, she was a little sad to hear the #JoziMeetup wasn’t going to be a mommy and kids event, but the “special Disney prezzies” really made up for that. πŸ˜‰

Disney Princess

For the moms and dads who aren’t massive Disney fans (seriously though, how could you not be? πŸ˜€), here’s a little background to the show and film these two Disney Princesses come from:

Sofia the First is an American computer-animated television series on Disney Junior that features Sofia, a young girl who becomes a princess when her mother, Miranda, marries her kingdom’s ruler King Roland II. As she adjusts to her new role, Sofia works to live amongst the royal family while having different adventures along the way.

Tangled is a 2010 American 3D computer-animated musical fantasy-comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Loosely based on the German fairy tale “Rapunzel” in the collection of folk tales published by the Brothers Grimm, it is the 50th Disney animated feature film. Featuring the voices of Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, the film tells the story of a lost, young princess who yearns to leave her secluded tower. Against her mother’s wishes, she accepts the aid of a handsome intruder to take her out into the world which she has never seen.

And now, here’s Zee telling us a little bit more about her Sofia and Rapunzel dolls. We hope you like it. πŸ™‚

Naptime Natter

Tale as old as time…

Disney released the final trailer for Beauty And the Beast, and it’s glorious! This one shows us more than the previous two, and my inner child was thrilled to see they’ve not strayed far from the storyline portrayed in the 1991 animated film.

We get a glimpse of Belle (Emma Watson) as a child, her love for books already evident. We also see Gaston (Luke Evans) at his egotistical best, staring adoringly at himself in a mirror. We’re introduced to LumiΓ¨re (Ewan McGregor),Β Cogsworth (Ian McKellen), Mrs Potts (Emma Thompson), and Chip (Nathan Mack), who will no doubt be loved by our children, as they were by us.

And then there’s the iconic ballroom scene, with Beast (Dan Stevens), and Belle in that amazing yellow dress, and the incredible voices of Ariana Grande and John Legend singing the famous title track adding that final touch of magic.

If you havent watched it yet, here’s the trailer, guaranteed to make you smile.

Beauty And The Beast will be in cinemas in March. Just over a month to go. πŸ™‚

Travel [Throwback] Thursday | Disneyland Paris

Age really is nothing but a number. This is especially true with regards to all things Disney. Child or adult, there’s no resisting the magic that is Disney –
β€’ the movies
β€’ the accompanying soundtracks (even the ones you may not love at first, end up being the ones we can’t stop singing loudly in the shower)

β€’ live shows, like Disney On Ice
β€’ and of course, the ultimate: Disneyland!

I haven’t yet been to the massive Disney World in America, but my little family and I have been incredibly blessed to visit Disneyland Paris twice. Those who’ve read some of my previous travel posts would know I have a bit of a thing for Paris… And that Disneyland Paris may be my fave place in the world ever! Zee is just as crazy about it as I am, and has requested that we either “buy a house IN Disneyland”, or go every year! πŸ˜€

My best friend and her husband also caught the bug, when they spent a few days there during their Paris holiday last year. Best says she now understands why we were so enamored with the place, as it’s simply magical. She too, like Zee, wouldn’t mind moving there forever!

Last year I did a post about our holiday, but I never got to one solely dedicated to our week at the happiest place on earth. Seeing as I’m feeling very nostalgic at the moment (probably due to Zee’s incessant “when can we go to Disneyland” routine the last few weeks), I thought I’d share some special pics today.

Just checked in at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge.

A huge thank you kiss for daddy, for bringing us back!

After the first time on this ride – Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast – which quickly became her favourite. I think we did this one six times!

Waiting isn’t something 4 year olds do well. However, when its for a Disney parade, there are no complaints. πŸ˜‰

Hi Elsa, Anna, and Olaf! πŸ™‚

Now you know I just had to go for a ride in this totally cute car! So cool! πŸ™‚

Zee (the supermodel) with some Cars friends πŸ™‚

Yep, it’s another parade! Cars & Stars this time.

Trying on Sully slippers, and making her best monster face! πŸ™‚

Cinderella’s carriage, and a little princess.

Cafe Mickey was Zee’s favourite restaurant. We got to meet and take photos with six characters at dinner. πŸ™‚

I just love this place so much, and I really hope the three of us are able to go back again one day soon!
